DIY: Eyeshadow Primer

I don't really use eyeshadows everyday so buying an eyeshadow primer would be a waste. So I googled how to make your own eyeshadow primer and here's my own version of that.

You will need:
- empty small container
- concealer (I used Naturactor)
- cc cream/ bb cream/ liquid foundation (I used Mary Kay's CC cream)
- lotion/body butter (I used Mary Kay's moisturizer)
- lip balm (I used Quick FX No-Shine Mattifier)
- something to stir the ingredients (in my case I will use the handle of the spoon)

Just combine all the ingredients like so..
I first put the Quick FX.

Second, the CC Cream.

Next is the concealer.

Then the moisturizer.

Mix everything until they're all evenly combined.

Now, let's test it shall we? :)

I used an ELF Eyeshadow here and ELF eyeshadow's aren't that pigmented but the homemade eyeshadow primer made it vibrant!

Well I'm really happy with the results. This is ideal for students or people on a budget like me! Try to make your own eyeshadow primer too and let me know how it went. That's it for me today! :)

Sophie's Peeling Ultra Smooth

Our family has been a fan of Sophie bags because they are durable and they have luxurious designs. Sophie doesn't focus only on bags but on beauty products too. My mom happens to buy this Magic Peeling from them and I happen to try it first. (Hahaha!)

So this is what it looks like from the catalogue.

And this is what it looks like on hand.

Now let's try it on my knees.

It has a very thin consistency and it basically just rubs off the dead skin cells or what we call here in the Philippines "libag" (yes mga teh, naglilibag lang siya) Well it's not what we thought to be about the "peeling" effect.

Here's the before and after pic.

THE EXPERIENCE
It scrubs off the dead skin cells. We were expecting the peeling effect but it did not happened. It's cheap but it's not worthy of the price.

Kwik Multi-Insect Killer

So our house has been attack by ants lately particularly this side of our window. We've tried other brands that are oderless and waterbased but it doesn't seem to have a long term effect because these ants keeps on coming back after a day or two.

This picture was taken last November 2

I used Kwik Multi-Insect Killer, the odorless and waterbased one.

This spray can has a content of 500ml, this is less than Php250.
And yep those are the ants at the background.

And look it's CFC Free! So it's safe for our ozone layer (i hope they're telling the truth).

I took the picture of the ants last November 2 and here's what our wall near the window looks like after 7 days.

No ants. Just a dirty wall. Haha!

THE EXPERIENCE:

  • Odor free. You can't really smell anything unlike the other insect spray that kills your nose.
  • CFC free. Because we need to take care of mother nature.
  • No ants for a week now.
  • You just need to shake the can well because if you don't (which I did) it doesn't spray fine particles.
  • Cheaper than the branded ones.

For those looking for a cheaper and odorless insect spray, I think this is the one.

iWhite Nose Pack

I've been using this product to get rid of my blackheads and whiteheads for around 4 years now.

This is the new look of the iWhite nosepack. It has pink, yellow and green packaging which I thought has different effects or something but all colors are the same. I think iWhite was just having fun with colors.

Now this what it looks like when you peel it from your nose.

See those nasty things? Just make sure you apply enough to cover your nose for these dirts to adhere on iWhite.

Hope this helps, see ya! ;)
